DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS - $90,000 - $120,000/year 

North State Radiology Medical Group is seeking an experienced, patient-centered manager to lead, direct and coordinate the daily operations and activities of clinical radiology operations for the organization. This person must be an expert in working effectively with physicians, agency surveyors, vendors, patients and staff. Superior clinical, communication, management and administrative skills are essential. The ability to adhere to the standards of patient confidentiality as outlined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

The successful candidate will manage all facets of the organization’s clinical processes including, but not limited to:

• Oversee all daily operations for all imaging center sites
• Participate in development and implementation of business and management systems
• Provide day to day supervision of clinic staff ensuring all company policies are followed
• Schedule staff and coverage in a manner providing high-quality care within a cost effective structure
• Assure all rules and regulations are followed
• Problem solve for patients/physicians/staff/vendors
• Provide overall inventory, maintenance manuals and schedules on all supplies and equipment
• Responsible for efficient and economical procurement of office and medical supplies
• Maintain and enforce up-to-date policies, procedures and protocols for the centers
• Work collaboratively with Executive Director and physician board regarding policies, practice in program development, budgets and equipment acquisition
• Analysis of existing systems and related problems as necessary
• Provide overall leadership, information and support to staff, clients, patients and the local community
• Cross train on all positions in the center to be able to support any position that may need assistance


A combination of experience, education, and/or training which substantially demonstrates the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Thorough knowledge of:

1. Principles, practices, trends and technological developments in the area of diagnostic imaging
2. Clinical practices, procedures and techniques in the area of diagnostic imaging
3. Laws, regulations, accreditation standards and safety guidelines, related to diagnostic imaging services
4. Principles of budget preparation and monitoring
5. Principles of personnel training, supervision and evaluation
6. Principles of imaging methods and image/file management
7. The occupational hazards and safety precautions associated with diagnostic imaging

Working knowledge of:

1. Modern principles of healthcare administration including budget forecasting and control, inventory control, and management information systems
2. Principles and practices of program management, including program planning, implementation and evaluation
3. Modern imaging equipment, including PET, MRI, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound and Mammogram
4. The care and operation of diagnostic imaging equipment
5. Current computer software such as Microsoft Office, including email and calendar usage


1. Minimum of BS in healthcare related field
2. Five years radiology management experience
3. Valid CA driver’s license, vehicle insurance, clean driving record and own means of transportation.

CONTROLLER - $65,000 - $75,000/year

We are looking to hire a full-time experienced and high-energy Controller for our medical group. The ideal candidate will work in all facets of the organization’s accounting processes including, but not limited to:

• Strong background in finance, accounting, budgeting, payroll systems and administration
• Collections, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable
• Bookkeeping, General Ledger Posting, Bank Reconciliation, Closing Books
• Payroll and processing of 1099’s
• Analysis and preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other accounting reports
• Preliminary Tax Preparation – work with outside auditors and tax accountants
• Knowledge of Accounting laws and best practices
• Tracking Company actuals and forecasts to Budget
• Keep within determined AP / AR aging limits
• Track and Manage Balance Sheet Health
• Oversee and Manage Cash Management
• Manage and consult on budget achievement
• Working knowledge of job costing and project management
• Communication with management including following all existing reporting protocols
Additional Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting required
• 7 years of recent and verifiable accounting experience
• CPA preferable
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Quick Books
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
• Ability and desire to work in a cooperative environment as part of a team
• Must have the ability to multi-task, manage priorities and daily workflow with accuracy
• Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
• Exceptional management and customer service skills
• Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record

North State Radiology is hiring an MRI/CT technologist to work in a busy outpatient imaging center. The candidate must have a minimum of two years’ experience with knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, medical terminology, MR/CT protocols and General Electric CT and MRI equipment. Must have a current ARRT certificate in both MRI and CT and have a current CRT license issued by the State of California, Radiologic Health Branch. Must have current BLS certification and CA venipuncture license. Must be dependable, cooperative and be able to perform exams at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.
